Remodeling and Additions

Remodels, whether big or small, can be a daunting task for the homeowner; however, with Gale-Rew the process is broken down and carried out to ensure the experience is beyond our client’s expectations.

Initial Meeting

For most remodels, it is easiest for us to visit your home to discuss your project’s scope and budget on site. By visiting your home, we will be able to answer any questions you may have about your possible remodel. It is helpful to have any pictures, drawings, or ideas that you may have previously collected at this meeting. This will help us give you a more accurate bid. After this meeting, we will provide you with a detailed estimate of the work discussed during your initial meeting.

Design and Draw

Once you are comfortable with the initial estimate given and you are ready to move on to the next step, we ask that you sign a retainer agreement. Depending on the scope of your remodel, you may need to begin meeting with the Architect and us to draw up the specifics of your project.  You will also begin to work directly with our interior designer to make the selections needed to complete your remodel. Your interior designer will work with you to blend the look of your remodel with your existing home, so that by the end of the project it will look as if it has always been there.

Once you have approved your bid and any architectural drawings needed, we can begin construction. At this point, you will sit down with your Project Manager to go over a basic schedule for construction, as well as guidelines for you during construction.
